Strengthening the competitiveness of enterprises is the specific goal of Axis 1 implementing the renewed Lisbon strategy to “realize a more stable and long-standing growth and create new and better jobs”. The main aim of the Axis considers the support to research and the innovation as strategic lever to foster development and competitiveness of the regional economic system. Therefore, impacts expected by SMEs’ competitive growth, the diffusion of technological knowledge, the strengthening of research activities and the innovation development concern the improvement of competitiveness and the increase of the territory’s attractiveness.
